Aims

  • For all students to acquire the skills to develop resources, activities and strategies which enable them to become more comfortable with engaging in revision, (which improves performance), in preparation for examinations

  • To guide students to gain confidence in creating, and implementing, their own effective revision strategies. These are designed to clearly measure impact; retention of knowledge and aid their learning and achievement.

  • For students to become more realistic and honest in their perception of revision. Addressing their individual worries, pressures and expectations in a safe environment for learning to take place. The aim is to improve their overall day-to-day educational experience.

Course leader

Martyn Stewart (CPsychol), has been an educator and teacher for over 15 years. He is widely experienced in social inclusion and is also a chartered psychologist with the British Psychological Society.

He is currently the Head of Psychology at one of the top international British schools in the world. He is PENTA - British Schools Overseas (BSO) Inspection Trained. Martyn is also an acclaimed international motivational speaker and author. He is known for his outstanding relationships with students and guiding them to reach their potential.

He regularly conducts CPD and publications for students on topics including education, social media, anxiety, self-confidence and inter-personal relationships. His extensive teaching experience covers schools and colleges both in the UK and abroad. His examination success rate is phenomenal and students speak extremely highly of his strategies.

He consistently performs in the top 1% of schools and colleges in the UK for value added as measured by the Advanced Level Performance System (ALPS). He also has a 100% pass rate at A-Level.
